Nicholas's Birthday

Hey there, I decided to post another blog today at the request of my friend, Meifang. I guess I am going to stop writing soon… Getting very sick of typing, no one read my ideology anyway. Today on the 26th march 2005 is a special day for me, today is the day I got myself a galfriend! How do I even start? I met her at Starbucks, she sitting there alone n when our eyes met, I guess I juz had to walk over n say hi… K la, juz fucking around with u guys, how can it be possible for me? Though I hope it will happen one day…

Today is my nephew, Nicholas’s 1st birthday… I woke up early to make preparations for his party under our house’s function room. I had to blow up balloons, almost 50 on my own. After the blowing session, I swear to god my lips taste of rubber n my lungs capacity went up by 50%. ( Now, u know how I can talk non-stop without stopping for air. ) As I was blowing up balloons, it reminded me of the primary school bookshop which I studied in. They sold balloons at 10 cents each. Once in a while, I will buy one n blow. Thinking back, it was juz cheap thrills… Still remembered those days when my ambition was to own a bookshop cos I was crazy abt collecting stationeries. Haha. Notice all these simple things in life will bring back happy memories of the younger days…

At 10.30am, the caterer came n place the buffet. My sis ordered for 25 people n I have to admit that the food looks good. Though I was worried that there was not enough to go around, I was prepared to eat elsewhere… By 12, all the guests arrived, consisting of my sis’s friends n our relatives. The adults were chatting as usual, the kids was swimming at the pool n I was there to make sure that everything runs smoothly. I am not bad with parties k, I think I will get 1st class honours for Party admin n management. My uncles n aunties was thinking of upgrading their houses n they saw that the condo we live in was not bad at all, afterall, condo prices are now at a all time low, so I guess it was a good idea afterall. The prospects of us living together sounds good cos ever since my Grand pa’s death this year, I juz felt that as family, we should stick together. And wat better way to do that than to stay near each other… I hope they do consider, but of course I can also borrow their cars when they not using it la. See, we can save money if we car pool properly. Am I smart or not?

The party was disrupted at 3pm cos our usage of the function room was over n it was someone’s else turn, but of course wat we do was juz shifted upwards to our house. By then, onli the relatives were left. Everyone enjoyed the aircon n we had to feed Nicholas medicine cos he was still sick for the past few days. Looking at him, I realized that life is so beautiful n so worthwhile living, it’s just so innocent n sweet. I wish I can see his world though his eyes even for juz one day. When u loved everyone n everyone loved u back. Every morning he would crawl to my room n ‘disturb’ me till I wake up. I dun know why but I loved kids since I was young. Maybe it’s becos I always wanted a younger bro, but my mum didn’t make one for me. Or maybe I juz love the innocence of a kid…

Next time, if I do get married, I want to have 3 kids provided I can afford it. So my future gf muz have a nice butt so she can have an easier delivery. Haha, juz like going to supermarket to buy meat sia, like to choose which one more tender. So till the next blog…
