My Day Out with My God Mom

Today I went out with my God mother to Plaza Singapura… We had lunch at ThaiExpress. I had a BBQ seafood platter served with white rice ( $12.90) , a Chiang Mai Salad ( $ 8.90 ) n a Fresh Prawn roll ( $ 4.90 ), while my God ma had a BBQ chicken seved with white rice ( $ 12.90 ) n shared the salad with me. As this is my first time eating there, I did not know wat is good but after the meal, I will definitely Not miss the Fresh Prawn roll, cos its crap… The rest was ok but at that price, I rather eat in hawker center. But I supposed if u are going out on a date, it’s a small price to pay… But don’t bet on me spending this type of money soon. My god ma is a funny old lady, cautions maybe but also very nice. She helped me when I was in trouble n she always defend me in front of my dad, Thanks a lot , Aunty Kat. Now, she very concerned abt wat type of gal friend I will have n being a funny lady she is, she got me a poem that goes like this:

MY FUTURE WIFE

Girls are many and easy to find
For my wife, I’ll choose the right one
Faithful and true, first of all
And at least be over 5 feet tall
Good looking and shapely if possible
She must be at least a bit sociable
A good cook will suit me well
Not too many boyfriends to tell
Her company should not bore
Jovial, happy and kind above all.

Romantic and a bit childish
Should not be a passionist
Tidy and neat in personality
Able to house-keep the home wisely
Not the type who squander money
On fashions that suit her fancy
Dependable with some initative
Help me out in time of need.

Not a playgirl or a flirt
Not a girl that is like dirt
A nagging wife will be a poor choice
She only plagues me with noise
A good mother she must be
To love her children and me.

She must be my partner for life
A joy to me as a capable wife
Remaining time for better or worse
Till death separates us first
Surely not the type who swears and fights
That is not, the type of partner I like
To say I am still a bachelor I am not shy
